The key points of selecting the corresponding fin tube for the heat sink of the cooling equipment

The heat medium (steam or hot water) of the heating system transfers heat to the room mainly by means of convective heat transfer (convective heat transfer is greater than radiant heat transfer) through the wall surface of the heat dissipation equipment. This kind of heat sink is generally called convection heat sink. The convection heat sink made of steel fin tube is generally called steel fin tube convection heat sink.
Laser welded composite fin tube manufacturer Murphy introduces the key points of fin tube selection:
1) the steel finned tube convection heat sink shall meet the requirements of heating system working pressure and system pressure, and shall meet the standards of China or the industry.
2) rigid heat sinks shall not be used in open heating systems and rooms with high ambient humidity (such as bathrooms and swimming pools).


 3) verify whether the standard heat dissipation per meter marked by the product sample is ≥ the industry standard in JG / T 3012.2-1998. According to the "standard heat dissipation test report per meter" and "pressure test report" issued by the manufacturer and tested by the recognized unit in China, check the test results and the data of product sample identification (it is required that the tested product is a sample, the test report within the past two years).
4)the manufacturer shall provide the water resistance characteristic data of steel fin tube convection heat sink.
5) check the appearance of steel fin tube convection heat sink. All welding parts shall be flat and smooth, and the processing surface at the interface shall be fine and ensure the perpendicularity and flatness. The surface coating shall be uniform and smooth, firmly adhered and free of bubbles.
 6) the applicable working pressure of the product is 1.0MPa for hot water heating medium and 0.3MPa for steam heating medium.
5) check whether the steel pipe used for heat sink is of good quality (seamless steel pipe or steel pipe for low-pressure fluid transmission), and whether the joint process between steel pipe and fin pipe is tight (for the joint using high-frequency welding process, JG / T 3012.2-1998 requires that the total actual weld length at the measurement point of each meter of fin pipe should be more than 85%, and the length of non continuous welding should not be more than 50 mm). The fin height shall be greater than 15mm.
