Tubular (also known as shell and tube or tube) heat exchanger is the most typical interwall heat exchanger, its application in industry has a long history, and is still in the dominant position of all heat exchangers. It can effectively reduce heat loss and improve energy utilization efficiency. The tubular heat exchanger is mainly composed of shell, tube bundle, tube plate and sealing head. Fixed tube-plate heat exchanger: simple structure, low cost, easy to manufacture, easy to clean and repair the pipe, but difficult to clean the shell.
Floating head heat exchanger: no thermal stress between the tube bundle and the shell. The float head can be disassembled and the tube bundle can be drawn and loaded freely. It is suitable for the working condition where the temperature difference between the tube bundle and the shell is large. The cleaning and maintenance of the tube bundle and shell are convenient, but its structure is relatively complex and the requirement of sealing is high.
U-tube heat exchanger: the heat exchange tube is u-shaped and can be freely expanded and expanded without thermal stress due to the temperature difference of the medium. The structure is relatively simple, but as a result of the heat exchange tube made of different radius u-shaped bend, the most outer heat exchange tube damage can be replaced, other tube damage can only block the tube. At the same time, compared with the fixed tube-plate heat exchanger, the heat transfer effect is slightly inferior.
Brazed heat exchanger:
The brazed heat exchanger contains no moving parts or gaskets. All the plates are made of copper foil which is melted and welded at high temperature. It is a new type of efficient heat exchanger which is assembled by a series of metal sheets with certain wavy shape. Installation of brazed heat exchangers can save 85-90% less space and weight than shell and tube heat exchangers of the same capacity. The area occupied by brazed heat exchanger is only one tenth of that of shell and tube heat exchanger. About 95% of the material is used for heat transfer. There is no "dead zone" outside the gasket because there is no need for the gasket. In terms of capacity utilization, it is 25% higher than detachable heat exchanger with rubber gasket, and almost 10 times higher than shell and tube heat exchanger! It also has some disadvantages, the brazing heat exchanger can not be cleaned separately, can not be repaired, the price is a little bit higher.
Plate heat exchanger:
A thin rectangular channel is formed between various plates of plate type heat exchanger. Plate heat exchanger is an ideal equipment for heat exchange between liquid and liquid, liquid and steam. In the plate heat exchanger, the plate is the heat transfer element, hanging on the guide rod, the plate is also affixed with a seal gasket, the plate according to the design requirements after the assembly pressure. The flow of the fluid in the plate heat exchanger is through the corner hole on the plate into the plate channel, the cold and hot fluid to achieve the heat transfer.
In the case of the same pressure loss, the heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times higher than the tube heat exchanger, the floor area is one third of the tube heat exchanger, the heat recovery rate can be up to more than 90%.
Plate heat exchanger is flexible to assemble, heat loss is small, do not need insulation layer, at the same time the quality is light, disassembly, maintenance is convenient, widely used in a variety of industrial production.
